Covered in Dust

In first Century Jerusalem, you would see amid the bustling streets, merchants, and animals, a familiar sight. A group of disciples, or students walking through the streets, and among them, leading the way, their teacher, a master, their rabbi, teaching them.

So valuable was the opportunity to follow the Rabbi, that you’d long to be covered in the dust of his feet. This is just what you would have seen when this young, electric rabbi, the one rumored to be Messiah Himself, Jesus of Nazareth was walking those ancient streets.

Today, Jesus is still calling disciples, “Come follow me” That all who draw near… may be Covered in Dust.
