    James 1

So many of us are feeling disconnected like never before. We feel alone, and our days lack the purpose we used to rely on. Are you struggling? Are you lonely? The book of James is a letter written to a scattered people in a time of persecution of Christians. During this time that is stressful, painful, and unknown, James tells us that God actually uses these times to strengthen us and bring about His good. God has a unique purpose in this time - and that is where we can find our joy. Happiness can be fleeting, but we find true joy in the knowledge that God is doing something in us. Join us as we learn about God’s purpose for us in trials, and about how only the steadfast pursuit of knowing Jesus is where we find peace, hope, and joy.
