ENCOUNTER GOD

July 10-19th, 2025

Join a team of people who desire to encounter God, share the Good News, disciple, and serve the poor in Guatemala through cross-cultural occupational ministries.

STUDENTS INTERNATIONAL

Students International is proud to facilitate Guatemala mission trips for students and adults. We connect our short-term missionaries with permanent missionaries living in Guatemala. This dynamic allows us to help without hurting. The impact made is guided by missionaries on the ground, already immersed in the community.

We have opportunities in Microfinance, Physical Therapy, Social Work, Sports, and more. Guatemala mission trips are fun, exciting, and you won't regret going!

ABOUT GUATEMALA

Located in the city of Magdalena, SI-Guatemala is where it all began back in 1994. The cooler climate and mountainous terrain create unique ways to serve isolated and impoverished communities. Instead of staying on base, you’ll have the unforgettable opportunity to stay with a couple friends in the home of a local Guatemalan host. Excursion options abound— a beautiful Coffee Plantation experience, Rainforest Ziplining, and the city of Antigua are a short drive away.

FAQs

Who is leading the trip?

Dave and Julie Rasmussen are spearheading this trip with Students International. They've built relationships with the missionaries that live in Guatemala, and have helped build a partnership with Students International. They and their four daughters have huge hearts to see the Gospel spread through Magdelana.

What are the ideal age for this mission trip?

This is dependent on the ability and maturity of the individual. We work at our ministry sights for up to 7 hours a day, and a good portion of that is standing/walking.

What is the Cost?

Our goal is to keep the trip under $2,200/person. This includes all travel, housing, and food.

How do I apply to go?

You can find the application here. Application deadline for the July 2025 trip is March 1st.
