To study theology—is not so much an academic endeavor, as it is a relational endeavor. It’s the study of God Himself. What He has revealed to us about His character and His nature—who we are, and how we connect with Him.
And these foundational Christian doctrines are not something new to our generation. For nearly 2,000 years, the church has been built upon the teachings of Jesus, and the apostles and prophets as written in God’s Holy Word.
When we do theology—we are joining together with the generations of the church that have gone before us in declaring the timeless truths of God.
