In Nehemiah 6–7, a remarkable victory leads to an unexpected list of names. The walls have been rebuilt, but God’s purpose has always been the restoration of His people. Every name represents someone who belongs in the story He is writing.
We celebrate growth, answered prayers, and milestones—and give God the glory for them all. But our faith needs a foundation deeper than success or the people we admire. Jesus alone can hold the weight of our hope, especially when celebration gives way to another battle.
Jesus told His disciples to rejoice that their names were written in heaven. Through His death and resurrection, He offers us forgiveness, belonging, and a future secure in Him.
