James 5:1-12
Do you ever feel like we’re missing the point? Do you wonder why you don’t feel fulfilled, even when you get what you thought you wanted?
Maybe it’s time we ask ourselves tough questions about our desires. Maybe we need to take a hard look at what we value. Why are we so stuck in wanting things that won’t last, holding so tightly to things that will fade? We have been given the beautiful gift of eternity - why are we living like the small things that we have now are so much more important? God has SO MUCH MORE for us. This is the message James wrote to the early scattered church - how we can actually live as instruments to bring about God’s kingdom on this earth, here and now.
