Esther is a beautiful picture of what it looks like to the courage to lead. When faced with possible genocide of the Hebrew people, she is challenged to be the one to say 'yes' for God has brought her to this place for 'such a time as this.' She has the courage to seek the help of others, and lay her life down if she must. We have much to learn from Esther. But more than any of that, Esther points to the One who would ultimately lead by courageously laying His life down.
