When Jesus was here on earth, He went from city to city, performing miracles, healing people, and spreading the good news of salvation. Before He left His disciples and ascended into heaven, He promised He wouldn't leave us alone. He said He would send us a Helper, the Holy Spirit. This meant that His presence and power would still be with us.

As followers of Jesus, we have that same power within us—the power to do God's work. Just like the early disciples, we are not alone. His eternal presence and the promise of salvation are with us now, just as they were with the early church. This gives us the strength and confidence to continue His work in our everyday lives.
