We live in a world that never stops pulling. Culture, comparison, comfort, and confusion tug at us from every direction — quietly reshaping what we believe, who we trust, and where we find our worth. The ancient city of Colossae knew the same pressure. Surrounded by competing philosophies, seductive half-truths, and a culture that demanded conformity, the church there was in danger of drifting from the one thing that mattered most. Into that tension, the Apostle Paul wrote with urgency and clarity: Christ is enough. Christ is supreme. Christ is all.
The book of Colossians, calls us to plant our feet and refuse to let go. Holdfast is a call to every follower of Jesus — young and old, new in faith and seasoned in it — to root themselves so deeply in the identity they already have in Christ that nothing the world offers can move them. May we take hold of the fullness and purpose we're searching for. May we stand firm in the truth that is unshaken. May we hold fast.
