Story: Meet Will
Meet Will. This is his story:
“I didn’t grow up in the church. I didn’t grow up praying to God. I grew up drinking and doing drugs. I grew up living for myself.
But God had a plan.
I met my wife bartending at a restaurant. She was a server saving money to move to a place called Portland, OR. She was the most amazing girl I’d ever met. She had such poise and confidence. She knew who she was and she treated others with respect.
I eventually worked up the nerve to ask her out, she humored me. We spent a lot of time together over the next three months.
She had been raised in a Christian home and had strong Christian values. Her relationship with Jesus was strong. Her faith gave her a fearlessness that I just couldn’t understand.
Seeing this relationship with Christ gave me such an amazing feeling. I saw firsthand how a commitment to Jesus could transform you into your true self. So I jumped...
I was going to a taco truck of all places and I was almost blinded by a bright light as I walked outside. On the
wayGod came to me, and I asked him if he would be part of my life from that day forward. He said that he had been there the whole time. I got my tacos and I asked the little man at the truck his name? He said, “Abraham.”
My life has changed a great deal since that day. I have purpose, I have love, I have direction, and I am never alone.”
