Day 5: Righteousness of God

Righteousness means being “right with God.” Unlike human standards, God’s standard of righteousness is perfect. Religious Jews tried to attain perfection through laws and rules, but the truth is ee cannot achieve it through our own goodness; it is only through faith in Jesus that we are made righteous. The gospel shows us that God’s standard is met on our behalf through Christ.
