WHAT IS ALPHA?

The Alpha course is a practical introduction to the Christian faith that gives guests an opportunity to explore the meaning of life. Alpha is fun, relaxed, no cost, and totally non-pressured. That’s probably why over 29 million people around the world have already done it!

Every Alpha, we take a weekend and get away to have more food, hear more talks, have more discussions, and have a little fun! The approximate cost is $100/person. More details to come.

Who is Alpha For?

Alpha is for everyone, especially: those who are willing to talk about life, faith, meaning and Christianity.

What is the Cost?

There is no charge for the Alpha course! We've got everything covered. The retreat is the only expense to you. It's about $100 per person. Scholarships are available.

Who is hosting Alpha?

Alpha is hosted by Rise City Church in Gresham, OR.

How Does It Work?

Each Alpha course session begins with food, followed by a short talk looking at a different aspect of the Christian faith. After that, there is a time for discussion in a friendly small group.
