How do you feel when you think about money? Money can be something we either trust in as a false savior, or feel anxiety about. What if we neither worried about nor worshiped money? What would it look like to put money its place and be able to trust God as supreme in our lives?
Jesus, in his sermon on the mount, casts a better vision for how we should think about money. Instead of worry or worship, we should use money to serve God. When God is in his rightful place in our lives money is no longer a slave-master because instead we are fully devoted to Jesus. Then and only then can we become people who are not ruled by our finances, but walk in peace. Listen in to this podcast to hear Jesus' vision for money.

This week we learned about trusting God through a relationship with him in prayer. What a core idea to the Gospel-centered life. But if you ask most people who follow Jesus how it's going praying regularly, you'll find that it's a struggle. The fastest way to make most believers feel discouraged is asking whether or not they are good at prayer. What about you? If prayer is so central to trusting God why are we so bad at it? In this teaching, Scott Bean gives a VERY practical and helpful framework for prayer, that is going to have a lasting impact on your prayer life. Listen to this podcast episode to grow trusting Jesus through prayer.
