Big Changes For Rise Kids in April
Hello Rise Families!!
Happy April and happy Easter weekend! I hope you have all been enjoying our recent sunny weather. My family has been spending as much time outside as possible! 🌷☀️ There are so many fun things happening at church this weekend, I hope to see many of you.
Parents, have you registered for tomorrow's Good Friday service? This will be a service where we remember the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross for us. I hope that you will join us, as we worship and remember Jesus' life and death that points to the hope of Easter. Please note that this is not a child-friendly service and childcare is not provided.
And of course we're celebrating Easter this Sunday!! There will be Easter services at 9am, 10:45am, 2pm, and 4pm. These services are family style and each child will receive an Easter basket with goodies to enjoy during the service. Make sure you register on the Church Center app!
Big Changes Happening This Month!
There are so many exciting things happening in Rise Kids this month! At our 9am, 10:45am, 2pm, and 4pm large gatherings we are officially moving back to age-based classrooms on April 11th! This means that your child will get to attend class with children their age and enjoy age-appropriate curriculum!
Our toddlers and preschoolers will be learning that Jesus wants to be my friend forever this month. Make sure you practice this month's memory verse at home with your little ones!
How wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ. Ephesians 3:18
As we shift back to age-based classrooms, we will begin using a new elementary level curriculum with kindergarten through fifth graders and we are SO excited about it!! This month, our elementary students will be learning about peace and that we should treat others the way that we want to be treated. Elementary students will be learning a new memory verse as well!
So let us do all we can to live in peace. And let us work hard to build up one another. Romans 14:19
We are so excited about these changes and can't wait to teach your kiddos about Jesus in a way that's engaging and fun!

All of these changes mean that there are lots of serving opportunities in Rise Kids!! We have opportunities in every age group and on our Check-In Team.
